Who Doesn’t Like Mermaids?

In folklore, a mermaid is an aquatic creature with the head and upper body of a female human and the tail of a fish. Mermaids appear in the folklore of many cultures worldwide, including the Near East, Europe, Africa and Asia. Wikipedia     

We’ve all heard about, and seen, mermaids, never mermen, whether in a film or an animated film. In the movie, SPLASH, Daryl Hannah steps out of the water and we all wonder from time to time if this is really possible, or is this just a latent fantasy of certain folks?

Well, just an FYI, Florida has mermaids. Lots of them.  See for yourself!
